Stephen (Steve) M. Barrett has been a partner in the Bozeman firm of Kirwan & Barrett since 1979. He received his undergraduate degree from Montana State University and his law degree from Pepperdine University. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Montana and California as well as the United States Tax Court. Mr. Barrett is a commercial lawyer emphasizing commercial litigation, commercial transactions, real estate development, condominiums and land use planning. Mr. Barrett is on the editorial board of the Gaming Law Review and previously served as general counsel and Chief Executive Officer of Video Lottery Technologies (NASDAQ VLTS).
