Fred E. Whisenand became associated with the firm at its Williston, North Dakota office on July 1, 1996 on an "of counsel" basis. Prior to joining the firm, he enjoyed an extensive and varied practice in the areas of insurance defense, negligence, products liability, commercial and oil and gas litigation in North Dakota and Montana.

Mr. Whisenand is admitted to practice law in North Dakota, Montana, and California. He is also an Advocate and has served as the President and National Director for the North Dakota Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Although he has emphasized litigation during the past 30 years, he also has extensive experience with real estate and commercial transactions. More recently, Mr. Whisenand has acted as a mediator in a variety of cases. He expects to remain active in the establishment and growth of the firm's Williston, North Dakota office.
